Suitable for your age. (similar to behaving in a politically correct manner according to how old a person is)

Eg. Wearing a tube-top and mini-skirt is NOT age-appropriate for a woman who is fifty years old.

That you need to be the 21 and over (in some cases 18) in order to part take in where ever the "age-appropriate" is labeled.

It is really inappropriate expression,which is used by some people to stress on the age in which one is in his/her full power,energy, etc. If you've came across it while you was seeing for job, better call and ask what they mean it. Don't worry, be happy!
