An angel is a supernatural being found in many religions. In scripture, they typically act as messengers, as held by the three prominent monotheistic faiths, Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

In Arabic, the language of the Qur'an, angels are called "Malaaikah"(sing: Malak). The belief in angels is central to the religion of Islam, beginning with the belief that the Qur'an was dictated to the Prophet Muhammad by the chief of all angels, the archangel Jibril (Gabriel). Angels are thus the ministers of God, as well as the agents of revelation in Islam.

Yes. The bible describes several of them:

Chribum and Seriphum each have 4 and 6 wings.

Angels are male (Michael and Gabriel) usually on a specific mission from God, and are usually angry (Michael beating up satan, Gabriel with his flaming sword guarding the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve were thrown out)

24 Angels surround the Throne of God, aparently worshiping him forever and ever, with the head and mane of a Lion, wings of an Eagle and a few other appendages.
(Book of Revelation)

And in the book of Hebrews, it clearly states that "Beware of strangers you meet, for many have met angels unaware"

Theres not a single example of an "Angel" being female- and I point out these facts to women who are called "Angels" and for some reason they don't like it.

yes they do! The Bible talks about Angels all the time. In Heb. 13:2 it says "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing" I think we as believers we have angels all around us!

Don't know. Some people seem like angels, though. I'm open to there being other dimensions - maybe even beings that are evolved - or spirits - that people call angels.

Yes, I do! and I know a few others. I've been around since neanderthal times. people called us Raphaman, Rephaim etc. You will never recognise us until we are gone, as we look like others. But when we have left, you recall something about the face which is not seen in normal people, but by then we have vanished into the woodwork.

Christians certainly say so. Although there's no mention of halos or wings. Artists made that stuff up to distinguish them from regular people.

Whether they actually exist or not is a matter of faith or... something.

Yes they do. As it was said in the book of Revelations that they are ministering spirits assigned to do our bidding by God. They are always around us except they are invisible. U shud be conscious of the type of things you say to urself, because they tend to carry out every assignment u send them. U can tell them what u want them to and they will carry it out, only if you believe.

Definately. I know it first hand. It's either Angels or God or Both.

I have my life and my hands today because of them, and that's a fact you can ONLY know if you were in MY shoes!
