Hi there, i have afro hair that never seems to grow anymore, its stayed shoulder length for about 9 years or so, yes it has been relaxed and i have had braids done 3 times before. yes i like them but it ruins my hair.
Does anyone know of any products That will help my hair to grow

steam your hair regularly and also have it trimmed on a regular basis. 2 good products to try: if you are on a budget, try organic root stimulator hair mayonnaise or Nexus conditioners (quite a bit more expensive, but you WILL see results quickly) both are very good.

Try getting your own hair trimmed (you might want to get the relaxer cut out, when you have the braids in) and have steam treatments regularly. As a person with long afro hair, i've perferred to stay natural and to acheive the straighted look by blow drying and straightening irons.

Try QVC website there is something called Ojon they have a range of products and when I saw it on the TV they said its great for Afro hair. You can get on a 30 day trial period, so if its rubbish just send it back! However, it gets rave reviews so think it should be ok.

the best treatment for afro hair is keeping it natural.....but if u want it starightened, use a good realxer like dark and lovely. the rest are mostly made up of harsh chemicals!! And when using the relaxers, dont retouch monthly instead do it quaterly, u will see the results immediately. Trust me i talk from experience.

Good luck
