It is mentioned in the Gospel of Mark, Ch. No.16, Verse No.17 and 18 - It says that… ‘There will be signs for true believers and among the signs - In my name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak foreign tongues, new tongues, they shall take up serpents - And if they drink deadly poison, they shall not be harmed - And when they place their hand over the sick, they shall be cured.’ This is a scientific test - In scientific terminology, it is known as the ‘confirmatory test’ for a true Christian believer. In the past 10 years of my life, I have personally interacted with thousands of Christians, including missionaries - I have not come across a single Christian, who has passed this confirmatory test of the Bible.

i know christians will say"- We should not tempt God… we should not test God" - But here, we are not testing God, we are testing the human being. ¬¬¬ We should not test God - But here we are testing you, and God promises that any believer, who has deadly poison, he will not die - he will be able to speak in foreign tongues. ¬¬¬¬¬¬We are not testing God - we know God is correct -

There - another one quoting the Bible just like the Devil out of context to suit her own hypothesis.

Read the Bible fully about spiritual gifts. Not all people have the same gifts. And all gifts are manifested externally.

Where did you come up with the idea that this is a "scientific test" for a believer? Signs such as these can also be done by followers of the devil. When the signs are done by a believer, these are the tests for it being of God.

To help in your answer you have to turn to 2 Tim.3, it tells what you will see in the last days. It is a conformation on how some of the church has turned away from God.
Christ in the book of Rev. 3:14, shows us the church of Laodicea which is the end time church. More so, here in the U.S.
Yes i can believe you when you say you have not found one who meets that mark of Christ.
But the word also say you shall know us by our love for one another.
Christ love the AGAPE love the selfless kind of love. when you see this mark on true believers you will also see the power of the Holy Spirit. look for both not just one or the other. hope this helps.

Hello FATIMA M.. :)

The Bible does not tell us TOO drink any deadly poison, it says if they drink any (unknowingly)..

We do lay hands on the sick and they do recover..such as lung cancer, brain cancer..arthritis..etc..Amen!!

If one was to pick up a deadly serpent, if you have faith, it will not harm you..We also cast out devils..I speak in tongues..

Anyone that Loves the Lord our God with all of their hearts has no problem following His Holy Word..it is all a Matter of Faith.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

A+ job at taking what the Bible says and twisting it! This is not a test for Christians. The Bible does not say "Whoever drinks poison and lives gets to go to heaven."

It's half right and half wrong.

It's let to people walking into pits of vemenous snakes and dying.

But Jesus DID say we can transenced the Human aspect.

I think people should learn to crawl before they run.

Let's start with going to the wash line of a lake and see if you can walk on water that is 1" deep before you try to do the other things!

According to notes in the New International Bible at the link below, "The most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20."

Nowhere in the scripture is even the implication that all believers have these gifts. In fact, the scripture says this is a "sign FOR believers" not OF believers.

Blessed Be

You will never in a million years change the way I believe! Jesus Christ is Lord Of Lords, and King of Kings.

I will die for what I believe!

Jesus Christ is my Lord, to him only I trust, I give my life!

Satan has blinded you to the truth, you have no real peace, love, joy in your life, and never will without Jesus Christ!

Oh? I dunno, theres a few churches that play with snakes and not only get bit repeatedly but drink the poison as part of their services.

I've seen people healed, and I've seen the lame walk.

Interesting you failed to mention the use of oil when doing this

If you doubt the Scriptures, then why are you wasting your time assailing them? Find some activity that suites you better. What is your expertise in this field anyway?
