its not as simple as you all think...white people go blue but our skin is white (pinkish)

If you meant choked, I would say either the colour would drain, leaving him white/grey, or intensify making him go purple, or maybe just dark midnight blue.

A chock is a wedge, so if you 'chocked' a smurf, his blood might come squirting out. He would remain blue, and be covered in whatever coloured blood they have.

HOWEVER, there is only colour where there is light, so if it was dark, that question would be irrelevant. And if it was morning, afternoon or evening, or bright electric light or a dull candle light, the smurfs original colour would vary anyway. So the colour he turned upon strangulation would depend somewhat on these variable factors.


I think smurfs are hideous.

I think they would turn purple. When you choke someone, the blood slows down, increasing the pressure inside the veins. This increased pressure makes the veins bulge, bringing them closer to the skin's surface and making the blood more visible. Assuming that smurfs' blood is red, the appearance of a smurf when being choked would be a combination of blue and red, which I believe is purple. But then you could argue that smurf's blood is a different color. But who's got time to argue about the color of smurf's blood? "Not me!" I say, as I hit the Submit button on yet another Yahoo Answers web page at 6:45 in the morning.

if we are stereotyping and saying that we are all peachy coloured then the opposite to peachy is a purpley blue (as red is the opposite of blue) then if we go white then surley the opposite of white is black therefore when smurfs are shocked they should in theory go black...
