Go to www.petfinder.com and find a shelter kitty. You can't buy one there, but they have pictures and shelter info. In shelters it's not hard to find kittens, however fall and winter seasons are "off " seasons for baby kittens. It's easier to find kittens in spring and summer. Most now will be about 3 months old.

I wouldn't buy a cat online, it'd never survive the postage! No,seriously, you can't see what you are buying, and when it comes to a living creature, you need to see it and look at it, if you buy a kitten online, the animal could be seriously ill or infested with pests. No, I think that would be a bad idea, go see a reputable breeder or go to the cat and dog home and pick up a poor homeless kitty and give it some love.
Unless of course you are talking about a Reliant Kitten from the 70's, in which case you are gonna have a long search, unless you look on ebay!

I'd agree that Kittenlist is a good place to look online to find a kitten for sale or needing a good home somewhere. You can search by breed or use the map facility on Kittenlist to bring up adverts in your local area.
I'd also try adtrader - you can put in your post code & it will sort the adverts by proximity to you.
There is also the Preloved site & Freeads.
If you've decided on a particular breed of kitten, or decided upon a particular area of the country in which you want to find a kitten, why not place another question & I'm sure that you'll get more specific answers in return.
Including contact details for all the rescue centres within your local area.
Good luck

Don't buy a kitten online (what I'm guessing is that you meant where to find a breeder). Go to the SPCA locally, they will have many kittens and adult cats that will likely be euthanized if homes aren't found. You could also look in your newspaper classified section - but I'd recommend going with a shelter and saving a life.

You cant buy a kitten online!!! And imagine what it would go through with delivery!, that website Classfields or somthing like that people advertise pets thay wanna sell, try that but i would think thats pick-up ONLY. Go down to your local pet centre, or give them a call they could even pop round to you if you cant get to them, local animal shelter or home would be the best bet.
GOOD LUCK* HOPE YOU FIND A LOVELY KITTY X

Why don't you get a cat that actually NEEDS a home rather than WANTS one. You can get a cat, or kitten, from rescue shelters and charities. Thats what I did, and I've had both my cats since they were kittens. Getting and older cat is no harship either, in the end they are all in need of homes, if not they wouldn't be there.

Small teacup cats has its beginning as a deformity. Meaning, they are usually the runt of the litter with physical developmental problems and a genetic mutation. Dwarfism is a term which covers numerous conditions resulting in undersized individuals. It usually results from a combination of genetic factors and endocrine (hormone) malfunction. Some forms are caused by early injury e.g. physical damage to the pituitary or thyroid gland. Dwarf or stunted individuals can also result from malnutrition and chronic illness in early life. The modern trend for miniature cats means that less scrupulous breeders charge high prices for runty or under-sized cats and some "breeding programmes" are little more than kitten mills. Genuine miniature cats come from breeding lines where the trait has been, or is being, fixed by selective breeding and where the cats are a consistently small size due to genetic mutation or to progressive downsizing. Genuine breeders pay strict attention to health, hygiene and to the homes their cats are adopted into. Reputable breeders limit the number of litters produced each year to ensure the health of the female cats and will take great care to avoid excessive inbreeding (damaging to the immune system) and to widen their gene pools. With this in mind, I would suggest that you do not support this greedy breeding industry and instead, adopt a small sized adult cat from the shelter. Some smaller adults weigh in at just 5lbs and they are perfectly normal and healthy. Instead of wanting a teacup breed which you are unaware of its history, opt to save a life instead.

You should go to your local Humane Society. I worked for one for a long time, and kitten are abundant. You can find one of every color and personality. That is where I got all 3 of my cats. If you have a nice Humane Society, believe me you can find almost every breed. You would not believe how many people surrender their animals to a shelter.

Why do you want to buy one online?
It would be much nicer (if you are really serious about getting a litten) to spend some time and go to your nearest RSPCA (or similar) rehoming centre as there are plenty of abanded cats requiring homes - they sometimes have tiny kittens too!
