Hi. I have been thinking about this and feeling kind of bad. I am 30 yrs old (straignt, male) and I have had 7 sexual partners so far, 5 of them being longer term girlfriends. Do you think that is too many partners? When I was younger I thought, the more the better. These days I think that is not true. May be it is some sort of 30yr crisis I am going through. What do you think ? Girls, guys ?

The other 2 were one night stands. I think those two are the ones I am feeling kinda guilty about since when I look back now I don't like the concept / idea of one night stands. (humble personal opinion)

you think too much --- there is no ideal number --- its up to you and your feelings and your partners of course

whatever the reason, you have to be ok with yourself.

the 5 that were long term shouldnt be a problem. the 2 others, did they consent? was it a one night stand? did you lie... if you did nothing wrong at the moment of intimacy and it was all consensual, why should there be a problem. 5-50 if they were all legit then you shouldnt feel guilt.

ask yourself why you may feel guily about those girls... not the number...

Sounds to me like you're doing a bit of soul searching----In today's society where HIV/AIDS, STDS, are so prevalent one should ask themselves is having multiple sexual partners worth putting their lives to a screatching halt and be giving themselves a death sentence-----

Many out their will respond....that it will never happen to them---they're careful....EVEN the use of a condom is no guarantee that you will escape STDS' HERPES, or HIV/AIDS!

Stupid people will tell you that you can't get anything at all if you're only have oral sex----WRONG----DO you know that HIV/AIDS can be contracted through that very act?

I would tell you.....to keep the trouser worm in your pants----and save it for that someone special that you want to spend the rest of your life with! Committed relationship---marriage---for the woman or man that makes your Heart flutter and crave for!

Don't live on your past -----build for the present!

well...call me whatever you like, but I have had 43 partners (male and female) and I am 28. The majority of which occurred before the age of 21. Many of my friends are in the 100's or more.

I consider someone who has slept with 7 people to be of minimal experience sexually- but thats not always a bad thing. Its all about your sexual IQ and your willingness to try new things. Dont worry, you are alllllright. if you are feeling insecure about it, read some books- they help a great dea. : )

The past is the past you can't change it so don't fret about it. Make quality choices now. I have to believe that since by the time I was 30 I had about 4 times as many as you. But fortunately only one in the past 7 years, who is now my wife.

Why worry about things you can't change? Ever notice when you get in an automobile there is this huge windshield and a little bitty rear view mirror.... what's important is where you are going not where you been....learn from the past never try to correct or relive it

i'll be simple and won't BS anyone.
Men should live free, going through trials and tribulation. Sin then redeem then accumulate money. At an older age we should be able to buy the love of a younger untouched virgin from God.
Thats how it should be.

It's different in sexual relations, the plentier you had partners would mean you had many failed and unperfect affairs. If you can find 1 honest and fulfilling relationship would mean you found that perfect mate in 1 shot.

You are you and should be happy with your decisions so far in life. If you had more then you might have regrets, too little and you might wonder what you are missing out on? Be happy with your choice, we are all different after all!! Just take the right precautions and enjoy yourself, if no one gets hurt it's fine.

Hmmm ... my husband and I have actually had this conversation around the dinner table with friends. It seems the average is less for women and more for men.

My husband ... 14 by age 30
Myself ... 3 by age 30

For a man, you seem average with my group of friends who are all in their 40's now.
