ok my friend was a bit chubby two years ago she was something like 145 pounds and now she's around 120 pounds. she's around 5 ft.5 inches btw,
anyways she has this dark skin at the back and the sides of her neck... its visibly darker than the rest of her body. so are her under arms and all......... her dermetoligist had said its coz she's overweight and that there's no cure..... i dont think she's over weight.
is there a cure for this discolouration of her skin in the neck? ANY cure at all?

Wow, I can't believe they say she is overweight. She really is not. Even at 145 pounds, she wasn't really that overweight. I think she should find a new dermatologist, the one she has sounds weird and it doesn't sound like any options about her discolored skin have been offered by this person. Help her find a new one, ask other people who they would recommend.

=O she isnt over weight and the discolouration is nothing to do with weight... i mean there's loadsa skinny underweight people out there with patches of dark skin in the exact same places! The reason she has dark patches is where there is and increase in a certain hormone.. i forget what its called now.. but these hormones will settle over time...

meanwhile use a cream called "Fade Out" it works a treat for dark pacthes

good luck to your friend
