I would defend the liberty of consenting adult creationists to practice whatever intellectual perversions they like in the privacy of their own homes, but it is also necessary to protect the young and innocent.

Religion should not be allowed anywhere near schools. It is not their job to teach faith but to instill knowledge and an open and inquisitive attitude.
Religion is usually taught in a way that requires a closed mind and of course there is always the fear factor that means any questioning of that religious authority will lead to eternal damnation.

Children should be protected from any religious exposure. A little bit of Religion is like a little bit of syphilis, unless eradicated, it always gets worse.

It is the liberty of people to not listen to evangelists. Just as it is the liberty of evangelists to say what they believe.
You cant have freedom of speech and limit it to certain people. You cant say everyone BUT creationists can speak their minds.
