When do you think bananas will be back to their normal price? Safeway thinks December but what do you think?

I really hope they're right... and that ordinary people can afford to buy them again before the year is out.
The article below is optimistic about things returning to normal finally. I can't help be a little sketical though, as it's almost November already, and there is certainly no sign of improvement in price in my area.

The end of next year i recon. Safeway will tell you anything for the business and they are also the worst supermarket you could ever shop at.

well i feel if the weather does not pick up and we don't get some rain soon, it could be quite some time before they come down in price, and not only bananas but a whole lot of other foods to
