Once a year at Xmas, my uncle has a party and invites everyone for a set time (2 hrs) When we lived in New Zealand, we were all very close and I saw my family members all the time. Now all they care about is making money and don't bother with anyone except for this Xmas party. I'm sick of it and don't want to attend anymore. It's fake and they have become a family of strangers to me, should I go?

A few years ago, I was living with my father, my mom had past away just after Christmas,so I was taking care of him. Well, the next Christmas came and I invited all of my brothers and thier familes. My brothers weren't geting along at the time and one refused to come, I begged him to think of how happy dad would be to see us all together and finally convinced him to come. I am so glad that I did, because that was my fathers last Christmas. That was my gift to him, to have all of his children with him at once again, I knew that he really wanted it.
