There are several ways in which to enrich your blood. First food: dark green leafy vegetables (spinach, kale), beef liver, Second vitamins: iron supplements, cod liver oil. Third your doctor for iron shots and maybe prescription iron tablets. These will all work and sometimes they work better in combination with each other. Be sure to keep your doctor aware of what you are using and see him frequently for the necessary tests. Iron deficiency is not a good thing and if you are pregnant it can harm the baby. Take care.

To help the body produce healthy red blood cells and haemoglobin, then you need to increase the amount of iron in your diet. A rich source of iron is found in liver, and also green leafy veg like cabbage, kale etc. Protein rich foods also supply you with iron, either that or take a daily supplement. Vitamin C helps the body to absorb iron so eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, especially oranges, green veg, green and red peppers.
