If it's losing weight you want,I've come to the right place. LOL JK.
No but seriously I'm a total freak when it comes to staying thin and exercising, so maybe I could help you out?
okay first things first.
1)A MUST!! You must want this. Make sure that if losing weight makes you happy, give it your all.

2) Don't ever attempt any irrational things like bulimia or anorexia. Trust me, these two have a lot more serious consequences than most people know about.

3) Start off with the basic. Walk everyday for 30 mins and eat less salts, but more water. Now if you drink lots of water but insist with the salty foods your just gonna get bloated.

4)Little by little jog or run.

5)In the meantime, if you like to dance turn up the dial to your fav station and dance. Who cares if anyone see's you, your having fun not them.

6)Now for the best part. I know alot of these exercises will help. I'd right them down but it'll be too long. (hehe)

NOTE: If all else fails (which it won't) try the K challenge. Replace two meals a day with Kellogs cereal, and have anything you want for lunch. Not an exagerated lunch though. Of course, exercise.

I really wish you luck and don't worry because I'm sure your a great person in and out.

Regular running or jogging along with a few exercises like bending, curving and stretching will certainly help...u dont have to be on a diet or have to stop eating your favourite dishes to lose weight...just give your body enough work for what you intake...you will find the effect in maximum 2 or 3 weeks time!! Since you say you're slightly over weight the effect may show earlier as well...or else try yoga!!
All the Best :)

Start smoking and washing down diet pills with Red Bull... OK, that will work, but it will put you in an early grave. Try this:
-Eat less fat and sugar and drink more water (always order water and skip dessert).
-If possible, eat 5-6 smaller meals instead of 3 larger ones (this is difficult, but will raise your metabolism).
-Do 20+ minutes of cardio before breakfast most mornings (anything that will raise your heart rate will do).
-Work out with weights 3 times a week (if you can't afford a gym membership, just buy some dumbbells).
-Get 6-8 hours of sleep every night (preferably 8).
-Start drinking green tea and taking a multi-vitamin every day (recent scientific research suggests that green tea has potent fat-burning properties).
-Be consistent! Most people don't have the time or self-control to really get in shape and lose weight. Good luck.
Of course, there is always liposuction...

When you eat a meal, don't go back for seconds.

Start out walking a half a mile a day, then move up to a mile. It takes on average about 20 minutes to walk a mile. So a mile isn't that bad. So a half of a mile would take you 10 minutes walking a normal pace.

Tuna is a very low calorie food. Try eating that everyday for lunch. Also, drink 8 glasses of water a day.

Occupy yourself with a certain activity so you won't get reminded that you are hungry.

Note:
Do not take slimming pils, because many pils/medicines are with side effects..

So you should take a proper diet in a natural way.
Naturally, you must have Jogging every morning atleast 1 hour, then go to gym 3/2 a week. Do not eat junk foods, softdrinks and other foods that has a large amount of fats and etc.
but you should also eat 3 times a day. do not each to much rice.

Stop eating fried ,fatty foods. No Pizzas, no burgers, no colas but only double toned milk. Do take seasonal fruits particulaly those with pulp. Avoid canned fruit juices- take fresh juices.

You must go for a morning jog, run/walk at least 3 kms. briskly. Do yoga and above all Kappal Bhaati and Anulome Vilom Pranayaams. ( Watch Swami Ramdev's programs on Aastha channel and try to follow.
Just 8 weeks and you are slimmer, sturdier and will be able to concentrate on your studies more.

Best of luck.

First and foremost, you didn't tell us your height or weight. Check out the web page below and enter your height and weight. This will tell you if you are over weight or not. Most 16-year-olds aren't.

However, to lose 5 pounds in 1 week, simply cut out all carbonated beverages from your diet. Drink water and PowerAde. It worked for me and I know several other people this worked for too.

I am 5ft and weighed well 88 lbs. and I'm 16. Yes its normal. Age really doesn't matter with weight. Its just the height mainly. edit: My doctor says I'm normal. You are probably one of the lucky ones like me that have a fast metabolism so the fat you eat gets broken down super quickly that it doesnt even stay in your body. If a girl was like 5ft and weight 110+lbs, then thats a problem haha Yeah people used to accuse me of being sick and having a disorder. I eat ALOT but I don't gain weight. Well just I guess listen to the doctor to see if it is 'not normal' which I think it is. My doctor says its totally fine :]

Do Kapalbhati Pranayam. Start from one minute per day for one week and increment by 1 minutes till you are able to do upto 30 minutes per day.
Vigorous jogging is also a great help.
Lot of green vegetables , cucumbers and tomatoes and carrots before meals. Toned milk. Pulses and low fat diets. Avoid Cold drinks as they have lots of calories. Less sweets. Fibrous diet. But have your belly fill up in one go instead of having every hour.

Exercise! Believe me, it's the only way to have a fit body. Along with regular exercise, you may also control your food intake with Weight Loss/Hoodia sample. These will help develop firmer muscles, while you burn fats and shed off those extra pounds. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/weightloss.php for more info.
