me and my boyfriend decided to choose each others outfits for Prom. But the dress he got me looks terrible i feel so bad, how can i tell him i don't like it??

Dont worry he will not feel bad....just tell him in na indirect way like:
1) Honey, I would like to wear some other color please....
2) My dear would be hubby, I want to dress like your queen and it is not a queen's dress
3) Hey, I think we must go for a shopping together and choose together. I want to choose wih you
4) I like this dress but In front of you I would look like a girl,,,,,i want to be your angel...please let me be your angel.

well u have 2 options or u can find something to adjust it like maybe jewelery or just update the dress a lil bit find smthing funky abt it, or u can say you bf that u like the dress but the color doesn't match your skin and u should tell him how important is this prom for u and in a girls life. Or are u lucky enough and he already has a last minute super duper gorgeous dress that he intend to give u in the prom's night...........in any case good luck........ and smile no matter how the dress look is the attitude that counts.

How did he react to his outfit you got him? After all isnt he gonna be your date for the prom, I think u shd be wearing something he liked & picked up for you. But if the dress is a fashion disaster & u dont wanna b caught dead in it, then pls tell him gently tht this is not your taste. Instead, go with him shopping, give him 2-3 options u like & help him buy something 4 u tht u like.

Explain that different people have different body types....different shapes....and that the dress he picked out for you is beautiful....but, just doesn't fit you right. That is doesn't enhance your best features.
Sure, it's a little white lie....but, it saves his feelings.
