Nothing, 17yr olds are no longer children and some people forget they may live on their own, be in the military, college etc. When my 17yr old daughter was living with her 23yr old boyfriend I found out alot of what people think about 17yr olds and older guys is all wrong. For charges to be filed in the few states 18 is the age of consent you need evidence, unless the couple is taking pictures or having sex in front of people there is no evidence. If a baby is involved all states will try to insure the family unit stays together and help you as a couple do what is right for the baby. For people who believe parents can file charges they are WRONG, do the parents have pictures of the couple having sex, did they see the act with their own eyes, etc. etc. you need evidence in the US to go to court no evidence no case.

Thats just sick.... my sister in law is going through this right now... she is 17 and dating a 22 year old... My opinion about the whole thing is that its wrong... But most importantly its wrong because " What kind of person" that is 21... wants to hang out with highschoolers.... i mean wtf.... sick *** kids.. when i was 21 i wanted the 27 year old established ladies.. or at least the chicks that could go with me to the club.. the guy is probably some reject... or some wierd F**k that cant even get laid be someone that is an adult... I would be more concerned about his mental states than his age at that point...good luck with that ho.

jaiiillllllllllll bait!

you might want to keep it 'friendly' until her birthday. Plus, there is big difrence in 17 and 21- keep your intentions good and you'll be ok (in other words, if she/he is worth it, it wont be a problem to wait for him/her).
