I agree with arevior, there are some views which still need isometric projection to makes even human mind to understand the view. Most 3d programs need to br modelled first as a 3d entity to give you the view. It might be possible to create a code to do with simplicist models what you are trying to say but a generalized version will still require a huge amount of inbuilt repository of many relatively primitive shapes.

To do this with pictures is utterly impossible for now using inexpensive resources (may be possible in not so distant future), although we may generate some errorneous models using above programs for vertor drawings.

However if I am wrong plese let me know about any such program because I will be deeply intrigued.

hi Arun,

I'm afraid I've never heard of such software. You basically want to take a picture of the top view and another of front view, and want the software to show you the side? Hmm.. in terms of automatic conversion, you can't have it. Because image files are "flat" .....I am referring to those in jpg, gif, bmp, etc. So the computer cannot analyse any 3d views on these pictures

There is a way with Engineering CAD (Pro/E, Solidworks) softwares though. You'll need to drawout the front and top, and the side would most probably be what is the original picture about. But in a way, you'll probably need to already know the full 3d image.... so it depends.
Once you have the 3D created with CAD, you can rotate, edit and just do anything with it.

Cheers
