I have 2 male friends, they are really good friends with each other. One of my friends asked me out and according to the other one if i say no he will get really depressed and stuff even if i say the 'just friends' line. I would never want that to happen to him. I don't think i could say yes either because i don't like him in that way, what should i do?

Boys and girls friend relationship is blur ahead, you will never know what will happen, try and accept him, if not keep a distance away fom him. Maybe you have gotten the wrong idea.

If you truly value his friendship, be totally honest with him. A relationship should not start off with a "pity date". Why should you settle for someone you are not into that way. If he is truly your friend he will understand without doing or saying things that will trigger guilty feelings in you when you have nothing to feel guilty about in the first place. We can't control the way we feel, we can only respond to it.

Hi,

That's a problem of course....

You know what i think, i think you should go out with him and make his day. but then as you don't look at him in that way, i think you should let him know the same as well, but definitely not on the day you go out, maybe the next day. Hope this suggestion helps. All the best

maybe you shuld go on 1 date with him. and he'll probably be able to realize there's no spark. if he asks you out again then tell him that you just didnt feel a spark with him romantically but you feel a click friendwise and you would hate to lose him. if he can't deal with that it's notyour fault because going on the date with him would have give him a far chance.

I think you answered your own question when you said you don't like this one man in the more than friends situation. Do what is best for you but keep their feelings into consideration.

Tell him how you feel...you're not responsible for what he does with the information, just do it in a friendly fashion...as if he really WAS a friend and not like you are condescending to him.

eih tell him what you feel than giving him false hopes..tell him tactfully and why do you have to listen to your other friend...if you let your fear take over you you will just have bigger problems than what you have now so you better tell him honestly and he's a real guy or friend he would understand and he would respect you..don't force yourself on something you're not comfortable doing...

Their teaming up on you, don't do something you don't want to. If they are truly your friends they will understand and have no problem with whatever you tell them. If they do then they were not your friend to begin with.
