If you both know each other, you are already in love with each other from long time just not had sex then it is only the right time to have sex and enjoy. But if you are married with the girl who you don't know very well or hardly you know then having sex at first night is not suggestible. Suggestion is that first talk to her, know her likes dislikes make her know about you, find out how she is feeling, ones she starts sharing her personal things then it is automatic that she will come closure to you, Lets wait for the moment when we can't stop each other from having sex.

It is delicate one. It should at least not be the first thing in the first night. Talk to each other; make each other very comfortable and then if you feel so go about it.

YES, GET RID OF THE EGOS. It is not at all a question of the self respect or even the respect of the partner. Probably, you have that and thats why you have decided to be together.

In fact, in strict Indian context, you have first night after the marriage and marriages in India are very tiring. So, it is not advisable to go about your 'first time' in a tired set of body & mind. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT IT IS THE BEST EVER EXPERIENCE FOR THE TWO OF YOU.

If you are talking in the free and european sort of 'first night', it all depends on your mutual comfort & consent.

Anyways, have the BEST of it.

By Nature's creation the main aim of sex is procreation for the continuity of all species. In Humans we call it sex and in lower species it is called copulation. All species do not do it for pleasure except Humans, who have developed the art of sex to a very great level for the purpose of pure pleasure and enjoyment.
There is a saying that THERE IS NO SEX WITHOUT LOVE & THERE IS NO LOVE WITHOUT SEX. Love is caring & sharing and mere sex is satisfying one's urge. Once the animal is pregnant it does not allow any male to copulate. But in Humans it is being done mostly to the very last of the offspring coming into the world. Hence Humans are the only specie who enjoy sex very much and doing it with spouse and close acquaintance brings most enjoyment. Hence having sex at first night normally goes with the behaviour of all other species except when both are knowing each other and are loving and anxious to have it to make their marriage bond strengthed.

both times that it ever happened to me i ended up getting into relationships that eventually didn't work out, so that's really a tough one to call.... If you are in it for just the sex, then yes it is, but if you are looking for a relationship it isn't. Anyone who haves sex on the first night usually doesn't have any self respect and it is bad in the long run.

Nope, it's not good to have sex in the first night? for what? i'm not as liberal as many people so i still prefer to stick to the old ways by knowing the person better before i decide to move to a further stage.

Why rush if you're in a relationship/married?
If this is a one-night stand, you better be safe and use latex condoms...even when you're just "messing around"..if you know what I mean. Even mouth to "other" area contact can result in a nasty STD unless you have it "wrapped up". Even if someone says they don't have an STD..there's no real way to know.

Now it's up to you...is it worth the risk?
