It's a frustrating situation for the Palestinians. Hardly anything positive to build on until peace with Israel grants them sovereignty over their own country again. Peace at all cost, I would say. The Palestinians are a beautiful people and they have a lot of sympathy from around the world but until there is peace, there will be no quality of life for them.

you mean the trouble between the elected Hamas government and the older Fatah regime?
It's all about money, because the system in Arab countries is that when you are in power you get the lion's share of everything, but when you lose power you can starve to death, now the public servants, and military/police workers of the old regime are starving but they still have enough power to fight, so they attack the representatives of the new regime, hoping to dislodge the new government and return to power (and money)
