Probably, if we're honest. I drink a full bottle almost every night and sometimes have dinner with it. It's a habit, but I'm afraid I like it !

Hi there, If you did this once or twice a week - say on a Friday or Saturday night that would not affect your body terribly. However, if you were doing this every night then this would be akin to binge drinking as it would be overdoing your intake of alcohol. The Goverment sets a suggested maximum units of alcohol for men and women, but this is really the absolute maximum and not what one should be consuming. Ideally a glass or two of wine should make for a pleasant evening - and a rubber cork will keep the wine fine for the next day - or buy half bottles.

I have also read that a glass of wine a day can benefit your health.....but if you decide to take a break from the wine, do it for a week or so and see how your body reacts......If you find that you can't sleep without it, there may be a problem, but if you notice no difference after a night or two, then have your wine.......Also if you limit yourself to 1 or 2 glasses a night, that is not very much, it is when you feel the need to keep having more that you have to start to ask yourself, ok what's up? Do I need the wine or do I want the wine? Only you can truly answer this question.......Good Luck.....

No. It's perfectly fine to finish a complete bottle of wine with dinner. Binge drinking is when you go on a three or four day drinking spree and don't get sober. That's binge drinking. When i go out with my boyfriend for supper, we can finish a bottle of wine in one sitting and there's no problem with it. Don't feel guilty.

No, if you opened another bottle and polished that off too - then maybe!
A bottle of wine equates to about 5 / 6 glasses, so if you guzzled it down during a first course, then you may have to look at yourself, but if it was a leisurely dinner and you consumed the bottle over a couple of hours - you're cool

it's really a waste to leave any left in the bottle, its not going to be any good later. Nothing wrong with 2-3 bottles of wine between 2 people, at least as far as I am concerned that's how it goes... In Vino Veritas!

No but, you are drinking too much. One to two glasses of wine is considered moderate drinking.

No, it's called winding down! Binge drinking is getting completely hammered, rather than drinking in moderation every day xxx
