Their after sales service is pathetic. I am now left with a £400 camera that is as much use to me as an ashtray on a motorbike.

What model camera? and what went wrong? I bought a Nikon D50 and I absolutely love it! I am guessing from the price you paid that you maybe bought the same camera. I am so impressed that I am about to buy the D80. You can message me if you want to discuss this. I am in Australia.

I had a bad experience with Fuji and as a result will never go back.

I have had either Cannons or Nikons and have never had a problem with either so have never had to get in touch with their after sales care. Currently I have a D70s and have had no problems what so ever - except the stupid things that I did myself like manageing to turn the autofocus/manual knob and then thought that the autofocus lens had stopped working.

What is the problem with the camera? If there is a problem and you feel that their customer survice didn't get you the results you wanted write a letter explaining you grievances and that might get a better response.

What model camera and what went wrong? I have two Nikon cameras and I love them both. I have never had any trouble with mine.

I have heard these stories before, I've gone the Canon route now and I'm much happier. Minolta did the same to me
