no christians please, Im not trying to start a religious arguement, I respect your beliefs but I have my own so please respect the fact that I only want answers from the perspective of someone who believes in evolution
okay Im probably going to sound ignorant, but I thought I might ask this anyway, If we evolved from an apelike creature and assuming (bigfoot exists lol) do you think its possible that a sasquatch could be another subspecies from the apelike creatures we evolved from?

I doubt it.
That said, absence of proof is not proof of absence. You cannot exclude the presence of another hominid on the Earth on the basis of never having seen one. The world is well explored, but there are some regions we have barely scratched. As we continue to explore the world, the probabilitiy diminishes that such exist, but if it is discovered (better than some blurry images) it is proven.

Kind of a silly question, but here ya go. Yes. If Sasquatch were found to be a real creature it almost certainly be a primate. Based on the descriptions of the creature it's pretty reasonable to believe that if a specimen were found it would be a bipedal primate... much like us.
Just a side note, i kind of disagree with the way you handle evolution rhetorically. Evolution is supported well enough that one can either accept or choose not to accept it. Nobody should have to "believe in" evolution.

Yes that is possible. But it would most likely be living in Eastern Africa or the middle east. Humans came to North America not that long ago in the history of evolution. They were fully human when they arrived in N. America. But there were lesser species who lived in the middle east and east Africa before evolving to humans. There is actually a theory that Neanderthals died off and we aren't descendants to them, and we evolved from homo erectus. There is also a theory that we came about when Neanderthals and homo erectus cross bred.

try reading "Evolution as faith" and spot that thought is in touch no depend if one is for or against evolution.... in case you have an interest in an truthful psychological debate, then the two certainly one of you should be keen to hearken to the different area, view each and every of the data, evaluate the validity (or lack thereof) of all data, etc. while you're actually not keen to evaluate that the different individual may be perfect, then that's not a sturdy thought to start a debate approximately something that can not be shown in a laboratory test and consists of faith to have self belief the two point of view....

I often ask myself the same question!! so why aren't there more of these species? how come we are only seeing these animals every now and then? why aren't they roaming the planet?? i totally agree with the theory behind the evolution that we evolved from apes, but there seems to be such a huge 'gap'!!

I think that there have been a great many sub-species and that nature has culled out the less successful ones. And that this is an ever on-going process....Life will out!
