You may start a helpline for elderlies or disabled. You can advertise your number where people can reach you for any kind of help such as submitting their bills, deal with banks, take them to the doctor, stand by them during the operation or just chat with them, get their anmes registered in voter's list, shift homes, move furniture, contact their family members and resolve family issues or even call you to cry on your shoulder. You may charge a nominal fee on hourly basis or do it for free as you wish it to be or depending on situation to situation. You can take it up as a profession and a self-employment venture. Try it!

Try to think of how to make a difference by giving something.
Your time is a valuable asset that you have .Your health and energy is the most valuable. A minute, even a second of your time to help or make some else happy can make a difference.
I have the same question and looking for the same answer. But everyday I wake up and think about how fortunate I am to be here
and I think of good friends that have passed in life.Just try to be
kind to people and always be ready to give . A smile, a little help
to a friend or someone in need that you do not know will help.
YOU ARE WHAT I CALL: A REALBRICK.
A real brick is someone that wants to make a diference in this world.

dear friend,
i dont know your age. But may be ur young. that's why there is some sort of passion to serve the people in your query. I think people r required for emergency. we can make a chain of people who can donate their blood & lend their mental support to the people. A chain of 200 people , with a small contribution , can finance a meritorious student. And more over I am also looking for such guys who r really interested in making life a really meaningful. If UR passion keeps burning for more than one month, then please contact me @

See out of all the charity you do food is the best charity as only after having a tummy full food any person is satisfied completely and he never wishes more than he requires. So, what u can do is to plan a 50 rupees for a week and c to it that u give food for one person completely with meals a day.then u do it till ur 50 is over. Then u will be satisfied that atleast u have made a single person happy for a single day.

I do not know what your age is but your ideas are lofty. How you can serve the society depends on how much time. money you can spare. Society needs persons like you.

I know of a few such set ups which are are attractive like magnets. Fir example, a handicapped person is running 'Family of Disabled' from his bed to which he is confined for the last 20 years. Another NGO is working for kids, old persons, Vanvasis, for the sick and the dead and what not. I am talking of Delhi.

Join any organisation which provides support to such kind of people...take active part in all the events they organise that way you can be sure that all your efforts are not in vain as well as you can help them directly....also you can come up with more initiatives to help them more which will be appreciated by the society...all the best :)
