One may not believe in the Trinity and still confess and believe in the Holy Spirit and the Sonship of Christ Jesus. (By Sonship, I mean that He was both God and Man).

The first council of Nice by the Catholics.
even Jesus said that all you needed to do was believe in him.
before that it was just believing in something greater than your self.

I don't understand why you don't believe in the Trinity. Jesus said that "the Father and I are one". The Holy Spirit is the love of the Father and the Son which proceeds from them both. I don't get what you're denying about the general understanding of this concept.

If you believe in God
and you believe in the Holy Spirit
and you believe in Jesus as Messiah
There's you're Trinity!

The question does not make sense to me. What exactly are you taking issue with?

I agree you can understand God Jesus and their message with out declairinbg the trinity is the answer. ?Yeshua is Gods gift of salvation.
