Yes He does speak to all people today, but only through his Word the Bible not through Prophets, He did use Prophets in earlier times. Yet how many really listened then or, now ?The greater majority of mankind turn their attention away from God's Word.

All Christians can prophesy (1 Cor 14:24). This confirms God's promise in Joel 2:28 that in the last days your sons and daughters shall prophesy. We all can prophesy though not all of us hold the office of a prophet. So if you think that God only talks to prophets He talks to every Christian. This true because Jesus Christ is the Chief Shepherd and we Christian are all His sheep. Jesus said in John 10:16 that His sheep hears His voice. Christians can therefore hear God speaking to them as His prophet or as His sheep and more importantly as His children. God is always talking to us especially through His Holy Spirit who lives in us as our personal coach.

Some special people can hear voices, they claim it's God speaking to them, there were special people like that ever since humans developed the ability to talk. a long time ago such people were called prophets, but in our time they are hospitalized and some of them get cured.

Not to prophets. I follow a personal interfaith system & accept the Baha'i Faith's notion that Baha'u'llah is the prophet of this age & that another prophet will not be seen for at least another century.
That is not to say that God doesn't communicate w/ any one at all. It is entirely possible to have visions, etc.

I believe that some people are more in tune with the spirit than others. To call them prophets would be a great overstatement.

I believe that the Lord God can talk to whomever He pleases!! He is always speaking to the ones that really want to get to know Him!
