i am hoping to begin a study to find out how many holes there are in the average crumpet, which will involve a lot of time and resources, and as a result i have had to quit my job and look for funding. The government does not wish to fund my project, as they see no relevance in the number of holes in a crumpet. I am hoping that you do not share this short-sightedness and help me in my quest by counting the holes in your crumpets for the next month and emailing me the details. Thankyou for your co-operation. Wayne.

crumpets might be around during the colder times because you can toast them and they make you feel nice and warm.

I buy them every week with my shopping!! Perhaps the winter months create more sales as the weather gets colder!! Quick warm snack alternative to toast.
They are yum dripping in butter!!!

I remember when I was young (many moons ago) before we had central heating, we had a boiler in the breakfast room which was like an open fire with coal, and we would sit around it with my brother and sister with crumpets on our forks and toast them then butter them and eat them baking hot with butter dripping down our chins.
What a wonderful memory you just reminded me of. Thanks.

Kingsmill crumpets are available all year round and they are without doubt the best crumpets around! (and no, I don't work for Kingsmill and am not on commission :o))

My Tesco is full of fit crumpet etc etc all year round.
You know they are just waiting for a bloke though so they can get pregnant and stay at home watching Trisha innit.
