Doctors are only human and thus prone to erections (at least the male ones are. However, as they gain experience they become more neutral to seeing naked people and think mor ein clinical terms than sexual terms so it takes away that element of sexual interest that would cause an erection. Sort of like after you've examined 100 pairs of breasts (if straight) or 100 sets of male genitals (if gay), you'd just get to the point of taking them for granted.

If a plastic surgeon even thinks of getting pleasure from a patient, then perhaps they should not be doctors. It is expected by most patients that their doctor will be professional and mature.

Docs are not certified, they are licensed. They go to medical school which is a medical (professional) doctorate, not a masters. They are paid a small amount during residency, which is enough to live on but not a whole lot more.
