I recently found out about this religion called Born again Christian,
I do not live in the States and I have been told to be spared hell you have to belong to this religion. I have recently lost my mother
she suffered for 25 years of a terrible illness and her life was already hell. I really need to understand , she was Catholic but just becasue born Catholic did not pratice religion, but she was a good soul. Why would anyone have the atrocity to say becasue she did not practice religion she was not saved and now she is in hell?
why ? she did not do anythig wrong why God would want to punish her when she suffered all her life?

No offense to Born Agains, but a lot of religions seems to have this notion that there's is the only true God and everyone who doesn't worship in that particular way is going to hell. It's not reality...

I'm sorry for your loss. I am not a christian, in fact at this time I consider myself a non believer of anything.
It's their mistake to think that anyone who does not believe in god will go to hell. It makes so called christians feel better about themselves if they challenge and put doubt in someones feelings and beliefs.
Please don't make too much out of it. It is what you believe in that is important, not what others tell you to believe in. Your mom was a good person, let her memory speak for her and remember her for who she was.

Ease your mind, for God is All-Knowing and created your Mother with full knowledge that she is just the way God accepted her when He created her.
God is not so immoral as to create that which He will disapprove. He knew the Soul of your Mother "sins" long before He said, "Let there be light", so do not confuse yourself anymore, for God created your Mother with full approval...as He did you, me and every single other soul on this planet...past, present and future.
She, like all of us, will share Heaven together. I look forward to meeting her one day.

WE ARE MADE IN GODS IMAGE WHY DO YOU THINK THAT GOD WOULD PUNISHED PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD A LIFE TIME OF PAIN???? WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TO FIND YOUR PEACE WITH GOD. AND THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH. born agains are nutso so don't put any stock into what anyone else says. especially if they don't even know who they are talking about. It always strikes me when a "christian" passes judgement. Religion is a green card to make you feel bad for being different so it can increase its numbers when you decide you want to belong.

She did not go to hell. God called her home.
Just like when you were little and went out to play, your mother knew where you were and when it was time, she called you home.
She did not really care what game you were playing or what you were doing, as long as you did not get hurt and basically were being as good as you could be.
If you by chance got hurt and had to come home earlier than you thought, you could know with confidence that she would be there for you no matter what.
This is how god feels about all of us. So now you know she is with god, and that the christians are wrong.

God is the only One who truly knows.
I lost my sister to a terrible disease, and I know that your heart is heavy with grief. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Someone who has lost a loved one often begins to ask soul-searching questions about God, death, and eternity. Do you want to know God? Do you want to learn how to become "good enough" for heaven?

any good person who believes in one allpowerful God should know better than to ever say something like that.... it is only God's decision where a soul will spend eternity

Don't pay any attention to hypocrates that would say something like that. It is not belonging to a church that saves your soul. It is accepting Jesus Christ as our savior that saves our soul.
