First, check the dress to make sure it actually doesn't fit. There is a lot of leeway in most dresses for a few pounds more or less. If it doesn't fit, try out a few of the spandex control garments you can find at Sears or Macy's. They will be able to hold you in and smooth you out under your dress.

I would NOT recommend any drastic weight loss plans. It can be really hard on your body, and reduce you immune system function. That will leave you vulnerable to any viruses or other illnesses. Nothing like celebrating the honeymoon with whooping cough or explosive diarrhea :). If you want to tone up to feel better, increase your exercise schedule. Or maybe you could got to a gym and have a trainer help you for the next month, to get the exact results you want, like they do in those Bally's commercials.

Most importantly, don't stress over it too much. Your wedding day is about love, not perfection. No one in the whole church will be able to tell the difference between a size 8 or ten, and all of them will think you are beautiful.

Good luck!

Work out at least 30 minutes everyday. It can just be a brisk walk around the block. That will help you with dealing with wedding stress as well. Also, try to eat healthy. Stick with lean meats, veggies and fruits.

If you have only gone up a size in a short period of time, it is possible that you've just been retaining water/bloating/etc in addition to a small weight gain. Just try to be sensible and not push your body because passing out at the altar would be far worst than being a size 10.

Fresh fruits and veggies, brown rice, plenty of water and exercise 6 days a week at least 1 hour. Now, I'll warn you, this will work if you stick to it. But is the added stress worth the worry? You know stress adds weight and that could actually be the cause of the weight gain. Relax and enjoy preparing for your special day. You only get to do it once (hopefully) and potentially making yourself more sick, tired and stressed shouldn't be an option. Pay a good seamstress to let it out a couple inches and chill out. Life's too short to overwhelm yourself purposely. Be encouraged and keep your head up. You're about to begin a new chapter in your life; slow down and enjoy the journey.

Well, You might not have to do anything. I was fitted for my gown 5 months in advance. The 2 weeks prior to the wedding the nerves kicked in. The day of my wedding the dress was to big. It kept falling off my shoulders. I lost 10 pounds with out even dieting. If this is your first wedding, than more than likely the nerves will kick in shortly.

If you go once a week till then to a spa or body wrapping place you will have no problems losing at least a size. Make sure you don't drink anything but water though.

go to the gym, cycle 50 mins everyday, 5 times a week. Eat a balance diet, no fried food or high protein intake.

Congratulations! I'm getting married too!

Cheers.

Let the dress out - its not worth stressing over. Size 10 is still small and beautiful - dont be a twig, your wedding should be fun!

Go to a Holistic Center and get a Colonic and a Body wrap. You may have to have 2 Colonic but believe me they work and they are not painful to you or your pockets..Good luck with the wedding and marriage !!!

Try the "three hour diet". Eat tiny meals every three hours, except eat within an hour of waking and don't eat five hours before you sleep. Do cardio and drink a lot of water, and avoid sugars!
