The US has been eating genetically modified foods for the past 12 years. Research on these foods has shown a high probability of allergic reactions and problems with digestion and intestional disorders. The FDA labels these foods,"generally regarded as safe", or GRAS. Europe, many Asian countries, and Japan do not want these foods. Japan is watching our health statistics. As it stands right now, the health of the US is falling at an alarming rate. The people who are living longer did not live on GMO foods. We now have a 12 yr. old generation being raised on these foods. All canola oil, from Canada, is from genetically modified plants. All, high fructose corn syrup, is from genetically modified corn. Mexico is fighting to not have GM corn brought into the country. There has been no increase in crop size and food quality because of GM farming. The only increase has been in profits and the control of the food chain by the giant agra companies. Look up GMO foods on the internet.

I'm already angry... but it's not only the genetically modified food. All the additional ingredients can (and do) cause a lot of trouble. A famous example is DDT, which was banned 30 years ago when it turned out to be harmful, but even the organisms of today's new born babies contain this substance. I guess we are the labour mice of the future generations.

Considering I start out accepting that if I didn't grow it there's a chance it's crap anyway, I don't think I'd be angry per se. Maybe I'd stop eating it, maybe not. Depends on the threat and how easy it is to avoid. Mostly I eat better than most americans anyway, so I don't harbor a lot of bitterness on the subject.

yeah...some foods I stay away From. Its hard to get away from the poisons going around. Flouride they put in toothpaste and the water is a toxic industrial waste product. instead of getting rid of their waste...they put in in our food and get us to pay to be poisoned. If more others will use their computer to get information and research these facts then maybe things will change.

I am angry. I don't eat dairy, I've switched to soy milk and I buy organic. Poor people, however, can't afford organic and some products you can't get organic. I don't see that there is a lot that we can do except write our corrupt politicians or grow your own food.

no news to me bud, i buy organic. and don't forget the growth hormones in meat, not to mention we've so altered the turkey that they are unable to mate naturally so (unless you buy free range) they are ALL artificially inseminated, and don't you think these hormones have something to do with the average height being almost a foot taller than 100 years ago!

I have heard that milk products, like cheese and butter and even yogurt lead to cancer.
