Yes I have. My Dad's ex wife took my social Security number and used it to get a loan. I found out when I started getting letters from collection agencies. I can't stand that selfish miserable b*tch!

No i have not, but many people have and many more will be victims. I would suggest everyone out there to get a credit report at least once a year. I am enrolled to creditkepper.com which i think is great and there so many companies like this out there. They monitor your credit and that is a great way to fight identity theft. It is always goods too know what is your score and make sute that no one else uses yours and ruin your credit score and your life.

Someone used my credit card number to try and pay a phone bill but that isn't identity theft so I have to answer no.
Don't pay for a monitoring service when the law requires a free credit report every year.

Yeah, a few years ago some idiot stole my dad's identity, forged his signature and credit card and then went on a massive spending spree! Money was used in casinos, on a cruise, airline tickets....
