.....No....wearing a cross does not make you a christian. Your faith in Jesus does. Try living by Gods example. Be nice ( but not a door mat) dont swear, and dont be afraid to talk about Jesus. You can let people know youre a christian, without telling them (but why dont you want to tell them?) Your lifestyle can be a reflection of your beliefs. If youre constantly lying, swearing, and all around sinning, nobodys going to believe that you're a christian. Live for God, live a clean moral life and people will notice.

The best way to show others you are a christian is not by wearing a cross (though you can do it), rather it is to live a real christian life, talk like a christian and from time to time quote a phrase from the bible to back up what you think and believe is right to other other people.

The best example is to be the example.

Whats the use to wear a cross and hanging out with a prostitute or walking like a stray dog barking in streets, drunk...? You will rather give a bad image of being a christian, a bad example!

If your a true christian then the things you do in everyday life will show it! Your focus will be on God because He will be first in your life. If your focus is on trying to show someone else that your a christian then your focus isn't on God but on yourself. That's putting yourself before God!
So put God first by reading your bible everyday & study it deeply. Pray at least 3 times a day & live the life that God says christians are to live. Then other people will see that you are a christian because you really will be one.

John 13:35
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Love is talked about a lot in the Bible yet I have seen so many push anyone that does not think just like they do away. I myself have been banned from many Christian groups because I point these things out. Many Christians do not want to get out of their comfort zones and I do not like to see them stay in them.

There is a song that says...Don't tell them that Jesus loves them, unless you are willing to love them too. This may mean getting dirty with them. One example is when someone joined Shattered Men and came to a chat we had on Sunday night vowing to destroy this ministry and me personally. He called me on the phone that night at 3 AM and started cussing me out. I listened for some time then I was able to talk. I told him he was not going to push me away and I would be there. By 4 AM, his anger was gone. He had met the PRINCE OF PEACE.

Many who have been hurt will try to get us to reject them before they allow us or anyone to get close. They have been hurt so often, they do not think anyone can care about them. Many of these have been hurt by...Christians, including the supposed church leadership. One has only to look at the scandals that have been exposed to see this BUT this does not negate the real thing. Because there are counterfeits, that proves there is something very real and very valuable but we will not find it in religion. We will only find it is Jesus.

Your actions will speak much louder than any words you could say. Follow Jesus' teachings.
Treat others as you wish to be treated.
Help others without expecting to be rewarded or thanked.
Treat every one you come into contact with as if they are Jesus.
Live simply and do not be consumed by the acquisition of material goods or become sexually promiscuous because popular culture says that is how women should be.

Christian are called to reflect the glory of the Lord by spending time with Him and being transformed in the process from glory to glory (2 Cor 3:18). Christian who spent time praying and worshipping God in spirit and in truth will discover that they have a glow on their faces that others can notice. The other way people can see Jesus in you is that you crucified your flesh and allow the life of Jesus to live through you (Gal 2:20). This means you do not do things out of your fleshy desires but you do things as led by the Holy Spirit. The other way that people will notice that we are Christians is when we put on the mind of Christ through the renewing of our minds by the washing of God's word (Rom 12:2, Ep 5:26). With a renewed Christ-liked mind people will notice that we speak with the wisdom of God and not of man and that we are in the world but not of the world. Also as we are raised and seated with Christ in heaven we set our minds on things above and not on things below (Coll 3:2). We demonstrate a value system that values the eternal more than the temporal and the invisible more than the visible. Because we know that when God is for us nobody and nothing can be against us we always have a positive attitude and full of faith in God to work all things for the the good of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28). We are always in a state of thanksgivings, praise and worship to God and do not gripe or complain. When people are with us they are uplifted and encouraged. Therefore we are then more effective witnesses for Christ by showing Christ's character (or the fruit of the Spirit) and power (the gifts of the Spirit) through our lives than by just talking. As they say action speaks louder than words or in other words walk your talk. I hope all these are helpful to you. May God transform you to be more and more like Jesus.

Jesus said Mat. 7:16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles. Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
He also commaned us to love one another. The kind of love that Jesus was talking about was sacraficial love. He sacraficed his life for us and he expects us to make sacrafices for our brothers and sisters. This can be done in many ways....especially time and money.

basically by just being a christian and emulating Christ. try not to judge others, be forgiving, live a clean life, etc. you don't have to wear the christian shirts or wwjd bands or anything, personally i think they're a bit show off-y, people will notice that you're somewhat different though, so just BE.
