And once you get off the train can you walk to Mall or do you have to take a cab?

From the World Trade Center station take the Path train headed towards Hoboken. You should get off at Pavonia / Newport, which is the second stop. The mall is just one or two blocks from the Path station and you will be able to see it when you exit the station. Definitely walk. See the link below for a map of the area.

Yep take the Hoboken path train to Pavonia Newport. Cross the street, take a left, and you'll see the passageway to the mall on your right a block later.

i will take a guess & say GET ON THE TRAIN to start & as for walking or cab sorry cant help you there as i am in Australia

You do have to walk on the street, but its only one block, and there are MANY signs.
