Mumbai - the city dat never sleeps !! ...dats so trrrrue
I have been born n brought up here . I been to city like delhi , banglore , chennai but u knw nothing beats aamchi mumbai ....
d roads have always b under construction , the temperature almost up2 boiling point ....crowded trains n buses ....u can name a thousand things ....but WHT D HELL ... mumbai rocks ....
hindu celebrate eid ...muslims enjoy ganpati visarjan ...u dont get to c dat anywhere else can u ??
besides d ppl r gr8 .... always helpful no matter wht .
mumbai has had its share of bad luck .... but cmon which place doesnt ... NO 1 IS PERFECT .....remember ???
so given a choice 2 move to any place on d planet .....i willgo roam around der have fun .... but wont b able 2 stay away frm mumbai for too long...........

The person, who hasn't stayed in other places than Mumbai , only can ask this question. I was born and brought in Mumbai and currently in Bangalore. And except the climate I didn't find anything good here.
Offcourse, if you look at the basic things, like water, food, and clothes its cheap as compared to Mumbai. A dosa you can get only for 10 rs.
But then if you go back to infrastucture, there is no other place than Mumbai in India. The best thing about Mumbai is Local Trains. You find their efficiency only after you leave mumbai. I miss the trains a lot. on the same line, BEST is much better compared to other city services. The roads which we always complain about are also in much better shape.
And dont forget Mumbai is 24 hr city. At 2.00 am too you may find some stall if you are hungry.

I love everything about mumbai. The culture, people, fashion, food, Nariman Point, Bandra Bandstand, Bollywood, emotionally strong people (look at the scene after the bomb blast people were moving around as if nothing had happened), night life, chowapatti, juhu beach, fashion street & linking road.
What i dislike is the fast life we live we don't really have time for anyone or anything. The traffic and the pollution. The ever crowded local trains, the encroachment of land by the beggers and nobody doing anything about it cause the politicians get majority of votes from these people. The corruption, everything is very expensive in mumbai compared to the other cities of India, the taxes that we pay are very high and the benifits that we get are not sufficient.
I love my city and try to my part by at least not littering it.

I miss Mumbai!!! I was born there, lived there for 5 years and then I moved. Now im in the U.K. but woww i really miss Mumbai!!! I visit there almost every year and things to see family etc.
I love it for the fashion, night life, awesome people, FOOD (gotta love that...specially the typical Bombay stuff like the "vada pau" and chaat on the the streets etc)
I like the people the most. Yes it is true that the whole of India is corrupt and the pollution and over populated but..you gotta love it for just that!

Mumbai is the only place in India where one can live freely on his/her own.This is the place where one can learn morality or go just opposite of it...
Mumbai is a generous city, safe for girls, more disciplined (in comparison to other cities in India), bindaas as well as conservative,aware and encouraging. People here dont assess you from your clothes, appearance , as it is in Delhi...,Mumbai accepts everyone, and people helping at the time of need .....its the greatness of this place.
indifferent attitude,self centredness and hard ehartedness is its negative points. ( I know its contradictory, but what to do,its like this only)

Mumbai is trendsetter in food, fashion, skyscrappers you just name it and they are the innovators
active ppl even after terrible flooding immediately they were on thier toes, great sportism.
I love to be there for shopping & snacking (street food) and I always fall sick, no need to take laxatives.
