and also they say things to make u feel bad about saying w/e it is u said, its like they do that so u can never acuse them or say anything to the sort again, cause it will liberate them when they really do cheat.

but what if u never really accuse them of cheating, u just say things that gives them ideas that thats what your trying to say...u know what i mean like u never actually ask if they're cheating. But they just think thats what we're sayin...wouldnt that also be a good reason that they're freaking out and wanna make sure that thats not what we're thinking?

Well, personally, if i am that person, i also will be upset because i feel that u don't trust me and dont even understand me.
Think it that way:
If I did something and lie it to you (in my mind I alreday know i'm cheating you, and i will act as natural as possible to make you think i didn't cheat you and i'm innocent). So i probably will expect you to know i'm cheating you, and i will be calm and try to explain it to you.
But if I cheat you and act like i didn't and get very angry ( this means I also feel untrusted and hurt - emotional person also act like that way) He/She gets angry because he/she cares for the relationship. Look at her/his eyes, you will know what's in his/her mind.

But, if i am kind of smart person, not emotional control ones, i will also pretend that i feel untrusted and get angry, but in my heart, i know i cheat u) But in this case, he/she really really is a jerk!!!! I hate this kind of people!!

To find the real answer, you should follow and listen to your heart.

I don't believe it's simply a sign of cheating. That kind of reaction might have a lot to do with the issue of "trust" between two people. The person who is becoming defensive could feel that way because their significant other is accusing them of something that they're not doing. This isn't always true, however.

You will know when a person is cheating when they start to accuse you of it too. Plus they will check up on you and make sure that you are where you say you are. This is happened to my friend, her husband is did this to her and she is the innocent one, he was the one everyone had seen cheating.

People react differently so I wouldnt assume that the person was cheating just because they became defensive. If you believe your partner is cheating try to find solid proof.

Ummm....not always the case, he/she might be getting defensive because they were offended about not being trusted. But it's hard to tell if they are cheating based on that outcome.

It could be. It could also be a sign they are jus annoyed at the question.

There are alot of signs, but your heart usually knows best, your gut instincts.

It could be, but it could be they're pissed off you're asking them.
