I have had bulimia for four years and it seems a lot longer than that. My parents know and I am getting help. Its just so hard to give up. I am at college and I just stuggle every second with this. Im so sick of it and I was wondering if anyone out there can relate with it... I feel like it is taking over my life.. I am going to get involved in service, but I know that still it won't go away. I am 5"2 , 18 years old and weight 100 pounds.. I want to know how you overcame it and I want to try your method.. because I know I need to change. when i eat i feel like i've just blown everything so i always overeat and throw up. I dont know if I can stop... I am feeling like I am at the end of my rope and I need someone who feels the same way as me... maybe we could be freinds and help each other. thanks
love avrina

I see that no one has answered your question, yet.
Please consider some of these support groups:

I am sure you can find PLENTY of help at one that you feel comfortable with.

Please know, easting disorders are extremely common - you are not alone...and there is hope!

There are around 1-2 million women in the U.S. that struggle with the same thing that you struggle with (around 2 out of a hundred women that are college-aged).

I am thankful that you are reaching out for help - you will get help and overcome this.

Please be sure to talk to a physician, as well...because there are some treatments that can help, too!

Grace and peace,
