I dont mean to be rude and make this a racial question but i am asian and all my friends and everyone i know basically says asian ladies are the worst drivers ever lol im a good driver but people say im crap cos i stick to the speed limit. whats your go on this?

I don't believe it has anything to do with race. I believe every ones ability is based on their unique skills. If everyone is telling them how bad they are at driving, this will make them doubt their selves and when you begin to doubt yourself and your knowledge of driving you will begin to make mistakes. Don't listen to them. Go the seep limit if you want.You will just be the one with out tickets.

I live in Tokyo and I have never seen so many people running red lights. Taxi drivers are notorious here. Be very wary stepping onto the road without looking. Through my conversations with my Japanese friends and acquaintances, I have discovered that many of them believe they are good drivers (licensing has levels based on years of incident free driving), but very few actually do any driving. So, when these people go on vacation and drive on the right (left side here), they are really just rookies and feed into the stereotype. I don't think that an entire group of people should be painted with such a small brush, but if the shoe fits!!

LOL, I don't think that it is Asians at all, infact I think generally it is white people that are the worst drivers. They are always messing around with their CD player or talking on the phone, or simply comotos when it comes to that whole thing so yes deffinently white people. They probably cause more accidents too!

I've never had experience with bad drivers of a specific race, (they come in all colors) But I did hear from a highway patrol officer that the worst drivers are DWO. (Driving while Oriental) It annoyed me to hear that because I thought it sounded racist.

I think it's an individual thing. Some people no matter what race just can not drive. I find that more men tend to take more chances and woman are more cautious. Maybe it's a gender issue...................

Maybe they are saying that because Asians tend to be shorter in stature and are not able to see out of the car as well. But, I think it has nothing to do with race, but more to do with the individual.

Well, around here it's those white crackers with bleached blonde bobs driving the Mercedes SUV's and their cell phone is plastered against their ears. I'm surprised they haven't run over any kids. OK, that and the white cracker elderly. I'm white so it's cool! lol

Do you know how to blind an Asian? Put a windshield in front of them. Thats a joke I have heard many times over the years. I don't know if its true though, lol.
