Do you mean as in "slow-witted", "simple-minded" ... i.e. developmentally disabled? or in terms of being lucky and helpful and all else he was in the movie?
I have a son that is developmentally disabled, and he is the sweetest, caring, charming kid! He is 19 now, everyone who takes the time to know him loves him, and he works so hard to do things that other people take for granted. I so wish people who tend to look down on those like him could understand what truly great people they are. So many people push aside and demean people like him. It makes me sad.
