It is a combination of various factors. You may generalise into three areas. 1. Self 2. Family and surroundings and 3.Medication
1. Self. You may consult genuine Ayurveda clinics suchas Santhigiri Ayurveda Hospital (www.santhigiri.org), where you get medicines which help in this regard. Apart from these, if you have passion in anything you do, no matter the distraction by other attributes of self, family, friends or surroundings, you would have the concentration on your area of passion. You can also improve mindpower to some extent by meditation. Self discipline. Food and sleeping habits. Avoiding unnecesary viewing of TV and a little involvement in spiritual (not religious) would help you a lot in improving your mindpower. Family, friends and surroundings do influence a lot in distraction. But these can be overcome easily if there is a bit of spiritual involvement.

By doing regularly some mathematical soultions which depends on logic. Inturn i mean to say practice it daily and i think you will see the improvement. Coolness and patience should be there.

Draw the circle & then draw small dot in the centre of cirle.
Watch constantly at dot for 5 to 10 mins. OK.

Try doing a sudoku puzzle every night. Or get a Nintendo DS and buy Brain Age. It excercises your mind on different levels.

Read. Eat right, avoid fried fatty foods. Take vitamins. Keep your self healthy. Poor diet, and not keeping your self healthy will cause you to lose mind power. Reading and meditation will help you to increase it.

try meditation and dont forget to keep your goal in mind,set targets and keep reviewing them ,it will help you keep focus,try regimenting life and having a certain system it will help organization of the mind and will help you improve mind power,best of luck,god bless
