I feel that women are not necessarily mind readers per say, they just pay attention to detail. And if there is a slight change in detail then it sticks out.

This is a dangerous thing you are doing. It's killing your mind. My mother used to grill me, and I learned to blank out my mind so I wouldn't even know the things I didn't want to tell. The result is, now I'm grown, she's dead and gone, and still whenever anyone asks me a direct question, I immediately blank out. Not good at all in a job interview, or with clients, or police, or someone you love in any crucial moment. Sound like a loser to you? Try something different, if you dare. Are you old enough to stand up for yourself and get away with it? Set a date when you think you will be. Then, be a man. Say frankly, these are my real thoughts and my real actions and I'm sure you can find a way to deal with it. You'll be astonished at how life will brighten up for you. If you don't manage to do this, the rest of your life will be a living hell. Good luck! You're gonna love the respect you get, and you'll know you deserve it.

Intuition is present in both men and woman. Have you ever gotten the feeling that someone is not telling you the whole truth?
By memorizing the look on a man's face that is close to them women can often determine what he is thinking or feeling. In my relationship, I can tell when my husband is planning a sarcastic comment when he grins a certain way.

I don't necessarily believe that everyone has the capability to read another person's mind. I do believe it is as you've already rationalized, that it is intuition.
Intuition differs from all forms of mediated knowledge, which generally involve conceptualizating the object of knowledge by means of rational/analytical thought processes (and, hence, placing a mediating idea or concept between the knower and the known).
In my adult sons, having become accustomed to their behavior and body language, I was often able to analyze their conversations with me, especially if it involved a story where they had embellished - or if they outright "lied" to me. It isn't a matter of reading their mind - more so knowing their patterned behavior displayed.

I don't think women can read minds.. they just stare you down until you either flinch or stand your ground for like 10 minutes.. If a woman gets a haircut and asks you what do you think.. you're doomed.. she will stare at you until you squirm.. and voila.. you're busted.. something with the meal she cooked, samething with "do these pants make me look fat".. all horrible questions with no true way out.

Yes, yes we can.......stop thinking those thoughts right now!!! You're gonna get it!lol
We do have an intuition, but I myself have experienced this from the opposite sex. And to be honest all it turned out to be was my guilt. I think if you are guilty about something, it shows whether you want it to or not. Kinda scary huh?

Maybe women listen/hear better than men, so they have more information. Also, actions usually speak louder than words.
