My question to you is why are you so preoccupied with hell? Are you feeling threatened by damnation? If so, you need to begin to think outside the box you're in. The answers you seek are nowhere in that box to be found. Time for you to get out and get some fresh air. Answers here will only confuse you (including this one I imagine).

You need to do some bible study on your own.
Look up the word "hell" in the Hebrew & the Greek & see what it meant in the verses that it's in! Example: if it's "hades" it means the grave. (thats in the New Testament in Greek)
The English word "hell" also means the grave because people would bury their potatoes in hell to preserve them for the winter.
But the word hell in 2nd Peter 2:4 is tartarus in the Greek & means a condition & not a place. This is the only place it's found in the new testament yet the word hell is used here too!
If you go to this website they have articles on the truth about hell.

'Hell' is simply the common grave of all mankind.
The Bible is the book top explain it.
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

Hades is the Greek word for Hell.

The lake of fire is destruction.

Hell/Hades is to be destroyed. As such it cannot be a permanent place of torment.

At Revelation 20;10, the Bible says that the Devil, Satan will also be cast into the lake of fire, along with the 'wild beast' [ governments] and the 'false prophet' [ false religion] Thes are organisations and as such cannot in themselves experience any form of pain, so it confirms that the lake of fire is not literal fire but just total destruction. Eradication.
Revelation 21;4 says that death will be eradicated. And Hell/Hades is closely associated with death. So it must be man;s grave. Whether a hole in the ground or the oceans of the world.
(Revelation 20:12-13) And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha′des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.

All the dead go to hell, except for the elect going to heaven since Christ was made King. I don 't beleive hell is a burning place. it's mankind's grave. Most people confuse Gehenna and the Lake of Fire with hell. But that's another question. I'm a Jehovah's Witness and we believe in following Jesus' s words to preach the good news of God's Kingdom.

It is funny you would mention that you have had responses from "those who do not accept Jesus".
Those who accept Jesus must admit that the "All-Knowing' is NOTas all-knowing as advertised.
Afterall, if God--being All-Knowing--creates anything, He automatically knows the outcome of His creation. In short, God has a freewill too...what does He do with it?
Well, to believe in Hell, Jesus, judgement day, Satan, and other stupidities, one has to admit one of two things: 1) God is to stupid to know "All" or 2) God is immoral enough to create that which He knows He will condemn.
So, of course you are going to get answers from non-jesus freaks...they are the ones with the most faith that "God Knows Everything"...which means, He creates with His Own Freewill and has the morals to know He is creating something He will not approve AND has the intelligence (and freewill) to NOT CREATE THAT WHICH WILL PI SS HIMSELF OFF!
So don't worry about religion (especially those that shove their nose up God's butt), just relax and know that God created you already knowing your "sins"...and if He didn't have a problem creating you knowing who, what and why you are, neither should you.

It is not any demonination but the teachings of Christ. He said that 'the only way to the Father is through me'.

John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus died on the cross so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to God. He paid the penalty for our sins. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We have all done at least something wrong in our lifetime. God is a holy God who is good and just. All wrongdoing will be punished by Him. He loved us and knew that we could not be perfect so He paid the price for our sin by the death of Jesus on the cross.

If we believe in our heart that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and confess with our mouth/turn from our sins and choose to follow Christ we will be saved.

A good website to look at is-

www.christiananswers.net

The moment you pray and repent of your sins (turn away) and ask God to save you and accept the gift of eternal life you are a christian and a new creation in Christ.

After doing this it is helpful to pray and read the bible and meet with other christians for fellowship if possible. I personally attend a baptist church but have also attended AOG and pentecostal churches in the past. I am not limited to denomination but make sure that the church I am attending agrees that Jesus is the Son of God and He died for the sins of mankind. I avoid groups like JW's or mormons who have changed the good news of Jesus and are considered to be cults by most christians.

Don't worry about Hell. As someone posted above, God originally created it for those angels cast out of Heaven. Hell is a place for those who turn away from God.

The fact that you're here asking is a step in the right direction! :)

One of the funny things about wisdom, is it's the one thing in the world you have to seek out for yourself. Wisdom doesn't hit you over the head by accident, you know.

With this in mind, God said "seek and you will find". If you go looking for Him, and you are sincere, He will help you find Him.

Get yourself some Christian friends. Go to the bookstore and check out some Christian books, like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Case-Christ-Journalists-Personal-Investigation/dp/0310209307/sr=1-1/qid=1161929264/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-5138636-9664861?ie=UTF8&s=books

Read up. Think. God said "be discerning". Check out some local churches. All of them have groups of people your age who are seeking too. Good luck.

NO man knows for sure who will end up in hell. That would call for us to pass condemnation upon one another. While we are called to judge in righteousness, we are NOT called to be judical condemners. If your are seriously thinking about how to avoid that terrible place, that was created for demons & Satan...(not humanity) you can discover the answers to this question & more by reading the Bible! This is the free gift of God to us, to be able to choose where we wish to spend eternity! God does not send anyone there...they CHOOSE by their own free will & how they have lived their lives! The bible tells each & every one of us the truth about what God expects of us, how much He loves us & wants us to be with Him. But we must make the choice to seek Him out..He is a very personable God! He wants a relationship with each of us as individuals. Those that want to know Him & ALL that He is offering, have but open the book (and read) all that He has given to us! Seek Him with all your heart & soul & mind..He promised that you WILL find Him! Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven! To believe that He is the very Son of God, that He came to earth & died for OUR sins, was buried 3 days & was raised from the dead. To receive the gift of this precious blood sacrifice that atones for your sins, by His Grace, to repent of your sins & follow Him...that is the path. Read the Bible & find out for yourself! He really is amazing! You will never regret the choice to follow Him. May He guide you into all righteousness!

According to the Bible, Hell was created for demons that chose not to follow God. But the Bible also says that people also chose to sin, and everyone who does not accept Gods free gift of forgiveness will burn there eternally.

We all deserve to go to Hell, but God sent His son to counteract that. For those who believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Savior of the world, they will be joined together with God in heaven.
