whats even funnier is that these crazy christians believe what a bunch of crazy arabs wrote on some parchment paper 2000 years ago. now all the crazy christians want to kill all the crazy arabs because they are too crazy to realize that the crazy arabs are just as crazy as they are. Ain't religion crazy

Quick stab at reconciling the two camps: The earth is, say, 2 billion years old. The universe is 5,767 years old. How is that possible? The universe is round and spinning. The universe originated from a single point, call it the center of the universe. The points, like earth, that are far, billions of light years, from the center of the universe, spin faster to get around the vast distances of space. Time passes faster out here in the boonies of the universe than at the center. So theoretically, it is possible for it to be 5,769 years at the center of the universe, where the counting is taking place, but for earth to be a couple of billion years old, for dinosaurs to have walked the earth, for the Cubs to have won the World Series, all at the same time both being true.

For one thing, there is no "fact" as you say it that dinosaurs roamed the earth 200 million years ago and then died out 60 million years. Isotope dating and carbon dating are inexact methods of judging the age of a number of things, including animal remains.
True Christians are NOT taught that the earth is 6,000 years old because we know exactly what the Genesis account of creation REALLY says. The 6 creative days in the first chapter of Genesis had NOTHING to do with the creation of the earth or any of the other celestial bodies in the universe. If you will look closely at the first two verses, you will notice that the "heavens and the earth" were already in existence BEFORE the first creative day started. Those creative days were vast time periods that Jehovah used to PREPARE the already-created earth for animal and human habitation. Before those "days" got under way, the earth could have been in existence for millions or billions of years.

the preachers are not lying honey, that is simply what the bible says. if you don't believe the bible, thats your choice, but God created man and land animals both on the sixth day of creation. They existed at the same time. Even after the flood in the book of Job we have mention of the Leviathan which sounds an awful lot like a brachiosauraus. instead of insisting that God's word is wrong, stop and think that maybe the isotope dating is wrong. remember, God created the world without sin, t-rex wasnt trying to kill us yet, and most dinos were vegans anyway. I'm pretty sure some animals were left behind. the sad part is that you believe that evolution is "fact" when it is only a theory, a secular humanists theroy. If i'm wrong about my faith, what difference will it make? I will be worm food and the world will go on. but if you are wrong, it will make quite a bit of difference when you are spending eternity on the other side of heaven thinking about the reasons why you let people deceive you....

There is not enough space in this to give you a full answer, so I shall try to give you some ideas of what to look for ...
(*) It has also been proven scientifically over and over that the several methods of dating, including isotope, is false
(*) Ask your self how a fossil is formed, and then try to work out how evolutionary scientists say it would take many years to create one.
(*) If you want to think "out of the evolutionary box" think about what the result would have been if there was a world wide flood, if you look at that scientifically you will find that a lot of the missing pieces from evolution will be found.
Another point, many preachers have been "enlightened" with the evolutionary lies that they have attempted to water down the truth that is in the Bible and try to combine evolution with the bible, so you should find it easy enough to locate a church near you that will accept your ideas on evolution and still teach the Bible. on the same line of thought, it is not too hard to find scientists that dispute the evolutionary ideas and believe instead in the 6000 years. Both sides say the other is pig-ignorant.
just some thoughts for you

No one ever asked the dinosaurs.and since they were wiped out some billions of years ago, I guess we will never knew "what" or "if" they thought of the question.
What's BP? British Petroleum.
Evolutionists believe the unbelievable complexity of the eye could have evolved given all the time you want to give them. That's on the same level of your dinasour stupidity. Even worse, the preacher does it on literal faith in the Bible or that time was counted differently in the olden days when I was young and handsome. The scientist like Richard Dawkins makes his explanation about the eye developing out of the soup of the original swamp earth based on his corruption of the scientific method. Now that's really patently and obviously stupid.
So many PCers today live in a state of semi-consciousness, they never think to doubt either.. The only things they think of is what the majority does, which arrogant writers like Dawkins require them to think on pain of being called names otherwise, which is the stupdiest yet..

Look around, maybe they are undereducated and ignorant. In the end, does the age of the earth matter? Many people go to church because they are taught to do so. Whether they listen or not is another story. The preacher can say yadayada for an hour and they will still come out happy. Why? They go to church not for knowledge but for an affirmation of their lives.

Did you know that most Christians that live around the world have no problems with science. They accept the fact that the earth is three billion years old, they accept evolution, and they accept that the universe was created 15billion years ago. There is no conflict between religion and science, or at least Christian religion and science. (Can't speak for the other, I don't know them well enough).
Check the the Vatican's web site, most Christians in the world are Catholic, and you will find that the catholics have little problem with science.
For the record I do not Believe in God, It just drives me nuts when people don't do some fact checking.

The earth and the universe were created and in existence...along with the animals, some now extinct, for possibly billions of years. dinosaur bones prove this.
It is man who has only been in existence for about 6-8,000 years.
check the ages of the Patriarchs, Genesis ch. 5 and the geneology of Jesus. Matthew ch. 1 and luke ch. 3.

Young Earth Creationism and the idea of a 6000 year old Earth appears to be flawed. How did so many different animal species and different DINOSAURS fit on Noahs ark? What about the wooly mammoths, saber tooth tigers etc.
The stories in the book of of Genesis appear to be metaphorical not literal.

actually, the Bible and science do agree. there are plenty of scientists who have shown scientifically that the Bible is accurate. The dates evolutionists give you are actually false because the Carbon-Dating system is faulty. I have put a few websites up because i can't explain it like Kent Hovind or Ken Hamm can. Bible prophecy is really a better way to prove that the Bible is accurate and it is God's Word
