Since this guy, (that I've had a casual sex relationship w/ for over a year) moved recently, I sent him an email of how I felt about him. He responded, but didn't go into great deal about what his feelings were because he's always been shy to show emotions, he's like that w/ everyone. Before he left he told me in a serious tone that I could call him whenever I needed someone to talk to, probably opening the door up for some serious talk. Anyway, I wrote that email to him about 2 weeks ago, and then just the other day I called him, kinda drunk, but mentioned something about this tape that we made in the very beginning-I said, "hey I was wondering if you could send me a copy of something..you know what I mean.." & then I hung up, but I was being silly, & thought he'd laugh. So I was wondering if I threw him off by finally being serious w/ him, but then going back to being sexually silly? lol does that make sense? I haven't talked to him since the other day, how do I recover from that?

You sound like you want to be serious with him? Be blunt with him.
Shy people are kinda slow in responding as you know.

Time is cruel...don't wait to long.

If your not that serious over him...never mind :)

I don't think thats a big deal..Don't worry so much about it...Also, drunken phone calls can be very bad things, if you often call people and say things you normally wouldn't, I suggest that you turn off your phone when you drink...I have had a problem with that in the past...Only bad things can come of drunk dialing....

You might want to tell him you were drunk...Many serious relationships can also by silly as well, they provide a spark every now and again!

just give him some time to give you a response. leave him alone for now. if he responds with something serious then try to get serious with him. that tape belongs to both of you so he should have no problem with it.

If you know you made a fool of yourself, you could email or call him saying---that the last time I called, I acted kind of silly and.............complete it in your own words.
