Yes! This means the massage therapist is competent. The Gluteous Maximus, Medius, Minimus are major problem areas affecting the low back and legs. When massaged with deep tissue kneading and releasing the affect is positive for the lower extremities. There are so many areas missed by the select inexperienced therapists that those patients that get a thorough massage benefit the most.

damn. I got ripped off. The last time I went for a massage, the guy didn't massage my a-ss.

What a jerk.

I paid good money, too.

Oh wait, he did massage my extreme lower back.

I would say you should sort that out up front! Make sure you get your money's worth.

Maybe you could do a trade-off and make him do extra work on your feet. Especially if you have the massage after a day of walking around and your feet are nasty and smelly. In that case, he shouldn't have to massage your a-ss.

Yes they do. I've had a few massages and they get almost sexual with all that rubbing but it's what they do. And it feels good!

You have muscles in your but cheeks so they need massaging too! Tell them don't spend too much time on one cheek or the other one will get jealous!

I do. But I also ask the person if they are comfortable with having their glutes massaged first. I also work through a drape or a towel.

Yes they do but if ti makes you feel too uncomfortable you should say so and they should respect your wishes and avoid that area.
Remember you are paying so you tell them what areas you want them to work on.
