No matter what any commercial tells you... shampoo and chemicals do NOT get rid of split ends. Best thing to do is trim it every 4-6 weeks, and use conditioner only on the ends of your hair never your scalp. It actually weakens it at the root so it would cause more split ends. In the long run it will get healthier. Dont brush your hair when its wet. Actually dont ever brush your hair. comb it. It may take a while with long curly hair (which i normally have until a brush with a cousin cutting my hair the WRONG way) if you must use a brush buy a natural-bristle brush that won't pull on hair and ultimately break it off, thereby causing a possible split end. Try a hair split repair product. It won't actually repair the hair, but it will minimize the stray hair look you hate. Ease up on the heat on your hair, wear hats and use a shampoo with sunscreen. If you need to put your hair up don't use rubberbands or anything with metal. Hope this helps!!

Get a good trim and deep condition your hair. Always apply moisture to your hair. Hair splits from dryness and heat. ALso make sure you don't use products with DEA in it. DEA is too harsh for the hair... it is the same product in ajax.

If a good conditioner won't work, try using hair-restoration products with a seal of approval from dermatologists. You may also visit this site http://www.upkb.com/hair-restoration.php for more tips and product details.

you cant treatment chop up ends because of the fact by way of the time you have chop up ends its too previous due. even nevertheless, you are able to ward off chop up ends from occurring by way of keeping it healthful and moisturizing your hair and not using alot of heat to it. all you should do is shrink the chop up ends because of the fact in case you dont they are going to strengthen and your chop up ends are going to maintain going up and extra inches of your hair would be broken
