For the last week i have been at home hacking. Finally went to see the doc and was told i have bronchits. I really want to take a day to clean the house from head to toe. I have heard that certian cleaners are either too harsh or just bad for you. Would bleach mixed with water do the job

clean top to bottom..first pick up all trash, then dust.always vacumn last since dusting makes stuff fall on floor.once your house is clean, just keep up on it! its not that hard, clean as you go...like when i get out of the shower, i rinse the tub, then use the towel and wipe up the floor real quick.that saves having to scrub realy hard..oh, and use pine-sol, and fabreeze...

Bleach is almost as harsh as you can get. It will take the color and weaken fabric, and over a period of time break down grouting between your tiles and pit your porcelain, eat your pipes if you allow it to sit too long in them.

I have a neighbor who won't use it because he says it is very bad for health.

The priority should be to get healthy first and not risking a relapse by activities that can wait. The last thing to do is inhale bleach fumes.

Bleach and water is good to clean but be careful, it can be really strong and may send you into a coughing spell. Make sure you have lots of ventilation.

Yes, diluted bleach would do the job and kill the germs but it will stain.
