Hell is not a place of eternal torment like Christendom teaches. The Bible hell is where all people go when they die. It is the common grave. In Hebrew it is sheol and in Greek it is hades.
God is love and tortures no one.

I am a Christian / Pentecostal and yes I believe in Hell and Satan. They are real just as the Holy Trinity ( God,Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) and Heaven are real. When we die we all go to either heaven or hell depending on how we have lived our lives and if we have dedicated our lives to Christ. Hell is a terrible place, when a person goes to hell they are imprisoned in a pit and they burn for all eternity. And they feel it all! The flames burning their skin, the thirst that will never be quenched, the tortured screams from other damned souls as well as their own. And they will be able to look up and see heaven but will never be able to go there. they will be tortured and burned forever. Read "Fallen Angel" by Roger Elwood for more insight into this subject. It's a real eye-opener. Hell is such a terrible place that words alone can not describe it's terror's! Hell is not a place I would want to visit much less spend eternity in.

yes.
It is outer darkness, a place where you cannot see or hear just nothingness,, also a lake of fire and brimstone. That burns forever,
a place of torment where the worm doesn't die, that is whatever took you there you will see forever and not be able to touch.
Like if it was lust, you would see that thing you lusted after forever
also there are entrances into hell, from various points on the earth.
Under the sea.
Those who reject God will go there.
If their name is not written in the book of life.
He will say depart from me you work iniquity I never knew you,
Be cast into hell with the Devil and his angles
Hell was not created for man. Hell was created for the devil and his angles.
Because of the devil sins inters into the hearts of men and women. It's the devil that takes you there not you, you have to get away from him and all he stands for.
I am an independent, full gospel I believe in the whole Bible. All of it.
I believe the deepest hell is for the truly ungodly and the blasphemer. The most wicked of wicked.

I'm agnostic.
If hell exists it would be a place where people spend their existence toiling for the benefit of a handful of leaders, but even the wealthy leaders would never be happy, because all they can do is fight amongst themselves. Obviously it wouldn't be safe to go out at night because law & order would be non-existent. The only justice would be hitler getting a pineapple shoved up his butt - if u haven't seen adam sandler's 'little nicky', forget the last comment..
Otherwise this is it - we must have all done something horribly wrong in a previous life!

I believe the biggest torment in hell is loneliness, and separation from God, The things on earth that give us contentment, family, friends will no longer be , In hell you will no longer feel the Love from others. Some people think when they get to hell they are going to have this celebration but they are so greatly mistaken. It is definetly going to be a depressing place. (especially when people find out that they were disceived by false beliefs) I hope no one has to experience this. Hell was not designed for people, but unfortunely some will rather choose hell than to believe in God . Very sad .

Confirmed Catholic but have become a complete pagan.
Best description I ever heard of hell vs heaven is as follows;
In hell, everyone is sitting at a table overflowing with food and drink but their arms are all in casts and they are left wanting and craving because they cannot reach the goods.
In Heaven, everyone is sitting at the same table with the same casts on their arms but they are feeding each other.

Hell is a place that was created for the devil and his demons. It was originally not created for man, but because of man's rejection of God and His Son Jesus, and their decision to go their own way just as that devil and the other fallen angels, that is were they will go. The angels were created to be messengers of God. But because of the pride of lucifer wanting to exalt himself higher than God, he and those that followed him became everything opposite of God ( evil, corrupt etc...). Their abode no longer was in the glorifous, beautiful, life filled presence of God (for nothing corrupt can be in the holy and pure presence of God in heaven). So their dwelling was created separate from Him, which is hell. It is a literal real place that exists within the core of the Earth. It is a place of torment and death. A place that we as humans with finite minds can never imagine, although some of today's horror movies depict some of its realities. It is filled with torment and decay nothing that has life and beauty in it exists there. Everything that is detestable (worms, rats, snakes, fire, demons torturing human souls). Scienists are finding physical data to support this through their reseach of volcanoes, new found cracks in the earth crust at deepest parts of earth ocean floor. They have found 8ft-9ft long worms called Riftia coming out and thriving around deep sea thermal vent in the earth's crust. They live in darkness for light doesn't penetrate that deep, and survive off of the hydrogen sulfide (sulfur) that is emitted out of these cracks. Hell is a place of fire and brimstone (sulfur rock). Hell is Real! So if you don't want to personally find out what it is like after you die, please repent of your sins and ask Jesus Christ to save you from that horrible place.Don't play with your eternal destination!

Hell / Heaven both exist in the very same world that we live. If you examine our surrounding very carefully you will see that some are living very happily(Heaven) and some are living very... you know what...(Hell).. It will depend on what we do(kamma). If we do good things we will be rewarded well and if we do bad things we will be rewarded badly no matter what.

Yes, I believe in hell. I really have no idea how it is without reffering to the bible, so I'll just go with the whole "fire, dark, scary" stereotype.
"When I go to hell, theyre gonna make me sit down and do math!" - my teacher. So true.
oh- Im Catholic by the way ;)

Hell: climate bad; inhabitants interesting and fun
Heaven: climate good; inhabitants dull and repetitive
It was Mark Twain who freely advised, "Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company."
Religion: Eclecticism
