WOW what a misconception of GOD. He is not a butler, Santa Clause, or a genie. God answers prayer, according to his will and if your heart is sincere. Seeking God is the the best way to find him if your are looking for him.

God exists outside our dimensions. He can exist outside of time and space as we know it. Therefore, it is difficult to "see" Him. We exist in four dimensions (height, width, depth, time), and God exists beyond that.
God only hears one prayer from the unsaved; the prayer of repentance and faith. If you really want to ask God for something try this:
"Dear God, today I turn away from all of my sins (name them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. He is the only way for me to be saved. He is 'The way, the truth, and the life.'" Please forgive me, change my heart, and grant me Your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

Your god is imaginary, a fairy story for children or incredibly stupid people to make them behave themselves. Much like Santa really.
