My husband of 12 years is 24 years older than me. I wouldn't have it any other way. He's past all that bull **** little kid stuff and knows how to take care of me in all the right ways.

Sure, and I would want them wayyyyy older and rich, too!

Sike! I wouldn't date someone that old, I think that over 5 years age difference and you are just going to be in a way different place mentally than the person that you are with. However, as a woman, I married an older man because they generally tend to mature in the mind slower than women, so when I was ready to settle down and become family minded, so was he.

For woman it maybe more suitable, being with a more mature man(someone over the playing games kind of thing) gives us a more secure feeling. So, I can understand it in that sense. But the 20+ age gap is just a little over the top. I'm not knocking it, but there would be alot of obstacles to over come. I would personally not go over a 10-15 year span.

ALL men are usually looking for casual sex and i think they just happen to fall in love by accident or want to change thier tune when the first gray hair comes or get to lazy to do their own laundry or want to spread their seed so dont think his age will actually make him anymore serious or commited than a 17 year old boy , He may concider it i mean people that date vary in age all the time and if your a young woman pursuing HIM than hell defintly be all over that....just read between the lines and maybe dont put out too quickly and hell show his true colors

I dated someone twice my age...(he was 36, I was 18) and I would never do it again. Emotionally, I was not mature enough, and he was ready to settle down and get married. I let it go on for about two months, and the man was a head case to begin with, but now he's suicidal and hasn't dated anyone since (this was over a year ago).
No. Never.

When I was 20, I dated someone who was 40. We're still good friends. But we both acknowlege that we had absolutely nothing in common other than our jobs and the movies we liked. So, I have dated older but, really, it RARELY amounts to much.

no I can't really stand to date anyone who is more then 8 yrs older then me if feels to weird. I tried to date a guy who was 10 yrs older it didn't work I couldn't get over the age difference. I know it is just in my mind but that is just it it's in my mind and I can't help it.
