It seems arrogant for any human to demand anything from the Almighty.
The Scriptures quite plainly explain that humans can disqualify themselves from receiving everlasting life; it is only the faithful COMPLETION of a life course that assures the favor of Jehovah God.
(Zephaniah 2:3) Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, who have practiced His own judicial decision. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. PROBABLY you may be concealed in the day of Jehovah's anger. [emphasis added]
(Amos 5:15) Hate what is bad, and love what is good, and give justice a place in the gate. It MAY be that Jehovah the God of armies will show favor [emphasis added]
(Matthew 7:13-14) Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.
(Matthew 24:13) But he that has endured TO THE END is the one that will be saved. [emphasis added]
(Philippians 2:12) Keep WORKING OUT your own salvation with fear and trembling [emphasis added]
(Hebrews 10:26-27) For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, 27 but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment
(Hebrews 5:9) [Jesus] became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those OBEYING him [emphasis added]
(James 2:14,17) Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if a certain one says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it? ...17 Thus, too, faith, if it does not have works, is dead in itself.

To say one is assured of salvation is saying that you are the equal of God and know what he will and will not do as regards each individual. You hope for salvation, you live your life in accordance with the teaching of God and Christ, but you never assume that you will be saved. Consider Moses, who because of just one sin, he could not enter the Promise Land. Now, the question is, was the sin what he did, or that he assumed that because of all the good he had done, he was assured entry into the Promise Land?

It seems like many people have NO clue what Witnesses believe in. We believe in one God, Jehovah and his son Jesus who died for our sins. Next time please go to our official site- www.watchtower.org to find out what we REALLY believe in before saying any old thing. As for the question I'm not exactly sure if this is what you're looking for. We believe that there is more to salvation than just believing in Jesus Christ even though that is the first step. But one's belief in Jesus is genuine only if we worship the God whom he worshiped, if we apply what Jesus taught in our lives and carried what Jesus commanded his followers to perform. We must live our lives consistently with the faith we profess. We must endure faithful to the end to ensure our salvation. Matt 10:22. Witnesses not only believe but call upon Jehovah God as Jesus did and although imperfect try to live their lives according to Bible principles in every aspect of their lives. In addition we are the only ones fulfilling Jesus' command to preach about the Kingdom. This would make the second part of your question invalid because this gives us assurance for our salvation. How can you have hope in your salvation if you have no assurance?

Jesus resurrection is a guarantee of salvation.
Salvation is available to all.
But Jehovah has appointed Jesus to do the judging.
Only Jesus knows who will have salvation.
Matt 7:21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.
I'm sure those individuals felt they were saved.

They can only hope in their salvation because their salvation is based on good works.
How many good works are enough?
Are 40 enough?
Are 25 too many?
They have to keep hoping they're good enough because they rely on their own good works, rather than the finished work done on the cross of Jesus Christ.

We don't believe in "once saved, always saved" as do most 'born again' Christians. To give a more detailed answer, you'd have to clarify your question...

Because they belive that Jesus is a god, and not God. JWs are polytheists, just as are the Mormons.
